The Pulsatrix plethysmograph is used for measuring, storing, and analyzing plethysmographic curves. It is designed for outpatient examination of blood flow in the upper and lower extremities after cooling.
In the Pulsatrix 10 plethysmograph, the plethysmographic curve is taken from one finger, unlike the Pulsatrix 40 plethysmograph, which takes plethysmographic curves from 4 fingers simultaneously.
A major advantage of the device is the innovative computer software, which allows a more accurate determination of the degree of blood flow response to a warm or cold stimulus.
The Pulsatrix plethysmograph finds application in the daily practice of occupational physicians for initial and preventative examinations of workers at risk from vibrations (to detect latent circulatory disorders), to diagnose occupational diseases, to monitor the effects of treatment of vasoneuroses and to diagnose vasoneuroses for rheumatology and vascular outpatient clinics.
Constant monitoring of the quality and compliance with the Pulsatrix plethysmograph manufacturing procedures is a guiding principle of the production and development service technician. Together with the quality manager, they ensure the optimization of the production process by selecting reliable suppliers, a quality management system, inspection, testing, and end customer feedback.
